I am trying to create a logging procedure that will switch a remote firewalls log files (about 10 of them) and export them daily. I will be using Webtrends Log Analyzer for reporting. I can logswitch -h - the remote logs without a problem, but I am unable to export the log files daily unless I manually define each file with the ip/day/time.log format. Is there any easier way to do this? I tried pushing the log to the management server realtime, but since we have several low bandwidth sites, it often fails and starts logging locally.
