Martin,
The last version of ICQ client (v2000b) is much more fw-friendly as it
supports TCP connection to the ICQ server.
This makes it possible to use it behind almost any firewall that allows
outgoing traffic. Checkpoint FW-1 in "hide-nat" mode is also supported.
Some ICQ features however would be limited by the firewall in this
configuration - like file transfers, chats or any other peer-to-peer TCP
stuff. Those features require one of the peers to be able to accept TCP
connections.
