We are about to make a decision on what hardware we should buy for our next
firewall-1.
We should make our minds about the following choices:
1.Firewall-1 running on Solaris OS (on a Sun Enterprise box or any
UltraSparc based box)
2.Firewall-1 running on Solaris OS (on a Intel based box, say P-III 900 ,
for instance)
Even on the second choice with a high speed processor P-III 900 Mhz , do you
think it is unreliable to run Firewall-1 on the second choice? Can anyone
give me some advice on this?
