Hello I would like to know if Checkpoint Firewall-1 is capable of acting
as a ftp proxy? I'm trying to configure a firewall to allow
authenticated ftp from a flat network (layer 2) to the internet. That
network has NAT configured in hide mode. The problem is that because it
is a layer two network that pc's are no finding the internet addresses
from the ftp servers. They want to work like making an ftp to the
internal interface of the firewall and authenticate there and be allowed
to continue with their ftp.
The problem is that all the pc's has their own ip address configured as
their default gateway and that's why they can't go out alone to the
internet.
I hope someone can help me with this.
