I think this Resolution on the nokia site will answer your question.
Unfortunately it requires a password to get to it. If you can't get
there, let me know. It is resolution 1573 and explains license info.

Hope it helps.

Subject: [FW1] Licence Requirement

I want to run a fw console module, with 3Des encryption for VPN, secure
clients, and I run the Management on a separate Internal box.

What type of license should I ask checkpoint for? I am still trying to get my
head around the license thing. I'll probably have to go on a course.

On the management box should I ask for:
EPC-MGMT (Management License)
EPC-ENC (Management Encryption license)

On the FW console ask for:
CPVP-VFM (Firewall and VPN license)

are this sufficient?

Incidently, VFM certificate does not require the management IP address during
the license registration on checkpoint site. How does work? How will the
module know it's management server.

What kind of certificate is CPVP-VSR?
