Paul, if your reseller didn't throw away the documentation coming with the Nokia box, there should be a small booklet named "Installation Guide" and another one called "FW-1 Release Notes". I'd suggest reading them, especially the first. The Nokia IPSO is really some sort of UNIX (derived from BSD) so once you have IPSO and the latest Checkpoint release package installed on the box (use the "newpkg" command for that, it's explained in the docs) you start fw putlic and fwconfig and all the other stuff you already know from your former environment. Routes and the like are configured via browser using the Voyager configuration interface running on the Nokia. Really quite easy to use. If you run into specific problems, feel free to ask Cheers Ralf G. z+z+z+z+z++z++z+z+z+++z+z++z++z+++z+++z+++z++z+z+z+z++z Ralf Guenthner, Senior IT Security Consultant Zentric GmbH & Co.
