I can't tell you if there are any specific steps to take for this, but I
can tell you that we have SR build 4185 and Outlook 2000 working just fine
to all our Exchange servers. Just for troubleshooting, I would suggest
these steps:
1) Verify DNS lookups work
2) Verify WINS lookups work
3) Make sure you allow tcp-high-ports (>1024) through unless you've locked
Exchange down to certain ports
4) Make sure you allow DNS/WINS/RPC connections where necessary to domain
servers

Subject: [FW1] Outlook2000 & Securemote problem with reply
Hi,
I am facing a problem with Windows 2000 professional with securemote 4185
build and outlook 2000. The user is able to check his mails but cannot reply
to the mail using outlook.
Our exchange server is behind the FW, all connections work fine,and I don't
see any packets being dropped in the FW logs.
Does anyone have a solution for this problem.
