This is my experience - I had some issues with installing the hotfixes, both NT and 
Checkpoint.

I spent about 1 hour installing about 50+ post sp6a hotfixes, rebooting after each 
one. Ever since, my "Magic Number" keeps getting
coorupted - haven't called support yet. And I have done what the knowledge base says 
to do - works until I reboot.
Also, I had issues where some of the hotfixes didn't install correctly and I had to 
re-install them.   Bare in mind that I do this
to over 400+ NT4.0 machines and have had very little problems on them.

I just upgraded to SP4 of FW1 with the 2 hotfixes.  Problem #1, NETSOD.EXE,  and the 
policy server (FG) went into a non-stop dr.
watson.  Checking on Checkpoints knowledge base said to call for a new license.  I 
ended up removing my licenses and re-installing
them.  This was an issue also because it wouldn't take the licenses.  I had to try 
about 5 times before
I could get them to take.   After this, the FW wasn't working - I reinstalled the 
policy and it started to work, but not well.  I
rebooted it a few times and it took off, then failed 45 minutes later. I rebooted it 
again and it's been okay since.

This was a stable install that never had regular reboots - it would run until we had 
to reboot to install something on it.

I am currently running FW-1 4.0 SP1 with NT 4.0 SP4 which I plan to upgrade
to FW-1 SP4 plus hotfixes and NT SP6a plus all Post SP6a hotfixes/security
patches. Is anyone running this combo, I'm mainly concerned with the Post
SP6a hotfixes as SP6a by itself is supported.
