Joel,
From what I have read here in the mailing list and in other
places (like the CCSE manual), you can download a security
topology from either the Management Server or from a Firewall
module. But if you migrate to SecureClient, you need a Policy
Server, that can run only on a box having a Firewall Module
... at least that's what I was told previously in the list.

Subject: [FW1] Can I download SR topology from Gateway or just the Mgmt
Console?
Greetings!
In my network, my firewall and management server are on separate boxes.
In order to get SecuRemote working, I had to setup NAT to the management
server so that my SecuRemote users could point to the NAT'ed address of the
management server and download their topologies. This works fine.
What I would like to know is whether it is possible to download a
SecuRemote Topology from the Firewalled Gateway, and not the Management
Server itself. Has anyone got this to work? Is it even possible (the
gateway does not have a management license of course).
Ideally, I'd like my SecuRemote users to point to the firewall and download
their topology that way. Then I would be able to remove NAT to the
Management Console.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
Joel
