I'm braving the auto reply emails I'm going to get by asking a question. <G>
Seriously though, does anyone on this list use or know any pros/cons,
issues, etc about using EZproxy and FW1? I'm been told to set it up
and I'm just wondering if there is anything I need to know about.
We are also running Esafe Gateway using ftp, http and smtp scanning.
Does that make a difference in your thoughts on the matter? I've
done some digging around on line but haven't found anything related
to this so I thought I'd ask.
For those that don't know and are curious, EZproxy allows home users
to access external sites via you network. Used mostly by libraries
so external users can get to resources the library pays for such as
magazine subscriptions and such. Well that is what it is suppose to
do.
