I have an internal SQL server and an external SQL server. I'm trying to use
Enterprise manager to remotely manager the external server but when I try to
add the remote server registration I get timeouts when trying to connect.
I'm using static NAT on the internal server and it can be pinged externally.
I created three workstation objects.
1. internal_sql - internal IP address with static nat
2. external_sql - external ip address
3. internal_sql_real - xlated real IP address (is this needed?)
I have a rule that allows any service between internal_sql, external_sql,
internal_sql_real
Any help with this?
