Checkpoint does support Solaris 8, although you must run CP 4.1 SP4 to comply.

I dont believe checkpoint supports solaris 8 yet. While this configuration may work, checkpoint will drop your support call as soon as they hear the OS.

I can't say for sure on the clustering with an older version.

- 2xSun Enterprice 420R+ 1xExternal storage Sun StorEdge D1000 Arrays
OS runing Solaris 8
Clustering software using Sun Cluster 3.0
