Try "boot -r" to rescan your hardware. (to do this, at console run "init 0" and wait for a "ok" prompt)

Hi all A bit off topic but I cant think of a better place to ask this and I need an answer quickly. Just clean installed Solaris 7 on an Ultra5, and it installed the qfed drivers (checked with pkginfo), but its not seeing the qfe card that is installed. Did I miss something? I have created the /etc/hostname.qfe[x] files but it refuses to see the card or interfaces. The qfe entries do not appear in the /etc/path_to_inst file. Any help would be greatly appreciated. -- Steve ------------------------------------------------- Steve Loughran, Network Infrastructure Manager Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (Cambridge) Home Page -> http://sl.scee.sony.co.uk/ Yamaha YZF1000R Thunderace ICQ#: 12666311 (Work), 104426046 (Laptop) Team Waste - Where do you want to go wrong today? =============================================== To unsubscribe from this mailing list, please see the instructions at http://www.checkpoint.com/services/mailing.html =============================================== =============================================== To unsubscribe from this mailing list, please see the instructions at http://www.checkpoint.com/services/mailing.html ===============================================
