Ouch! That's another way of saying 'defeat'. :) We use Confluence and JIRA in symbiosis here at work and never have these kinds of problems, so I can at least vouch for the robustness of those software packages. Could there be some plugin gone avry, or something else entirely? Surely the logs would be helpful to have a peak at.
