Greetings all from the gale and rain lashed island of Ireland - where Summer is apparently taking the year off :).
I have added a Zend_Uri_Punycode proposal to the wiki: http://framework.zend.com/wiki/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=34960 Punycode is an algorithm which transforms Internationalized Domain Names (IDN) which may contain Unicode characters into an ASCII form meeting the requirements of the URI syntax. As I've posted here a few times, IDNs are growing in popularity and are now supported across Firefox 2, IE7 and Safari (I assume Opera too ;)). If you're unfamiliar with the IDN revolution: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internationalized_domain_name Your comments and thoughts are appreciated. :) Regards, Paddy Pádraic Brady http://blog.astrumfutura.com http://www.patternsforphp.com ____________________________________________________________________________________ Don't get soaked.
