That sounds pretty cool. So how do we get something like that? J

I know I will probably be shot for this, but seriously, the ColdFusion (MX and
later, at least) graphing

library is *awesome*.

The best part, is you can supply it with a SQL query and it can generate the
graph based on that, including

the ability to click (image map or flash) to drill down for more detailed
graphs, it's *really* nice.

I can never find a google example online though :/

Btw, seems like ez does support SWF. So it'd be interesting to see how far it
goes. For example, if it's as nice as the Sugar ones.

It's actually something which has crossed my mind. I believe the ezComponents
graphing library depends heavily on gd which has quite a bit of memory leaks
and also doesn't support a Rich interface.

For example, take a look at SugarCRM and it's nice flash graphs in the
Dashboard view
(http://demo.sugarondemand.com/sugarcrm_ent/index.php?action=Login&module=Users)
 - Look for Dashboard.

So I think replicating something like in ez is not really interesting to me but
I believe we can do something which would be significantly sexier.

Is there any thought to implement (in a near future) a Zend Graph Component?

I know there are good libraries (jpgraph, postgraph, php/swf charts, ...) but
maybe could be a good idea to implement a new one (without reinventing the
wheel, of course) but based in the good platform that Zend Framework provides
us.
