Your patch works with the "addElement" method. Because if i do it with
the set value with the setters, i have "0" and "1" with for checked and
unchecked value.

I have applied the patch proposed at my 1.6 release files.
As you can see here, i've defined the "checked' and 'unchecked" value
but i have a 0 in the input value for the both...
I was having the same problem, but it resolved after have applied the
patch of ZF-4274. I hope for the next releases the problem will be
fixed and I will upgrade nicely.
