[fw-general] how to register a FormElement separator?

Hi all,

Baffled again and running out of hair to pull.  I've googled, gmaned, 
rtfm, and rtfapi until my eyeballs are getting fuzzy.  grepping the 
library hasn't yielded a solution either.

How do I register a separator to APPEND between FormElements?

The manual has a brief 3 sentence mention of what it does, but no 
example or description of how to do it.  To be honest the api isn't the 
most informative either.

Desperate here.  I've burned a day on this.
