Wow, 
Well I had huge issues with the wireless radio turning on and off and no 
working dhcp, all possibly because I tried to keep my config files, but not at 
all sure about why. That said, what is the earliest version after Backfire 
10.03.1 compatible with fwknopd? I poked around and could not find libfko or 
libgpgme in the package list for Backfire. I may try OpenWRT "Altitude 
Adjustment" again but have burned enough of today!
