Seems like that should allow fwknop to be installed on John's system.  I
do wonder though if one of those original compilation errors might
indicate that the fwknop sources require functionality in a more recent
version of libpcap than what is installed on John's system?  We might
need to add #ifdef support (driven by autoconf checks) around the
pcap_setdirection() call for example.  What do you thin?  John, do you
know what version of libpcap is installed?  Franck, does the Debian package
require a minimum version of libpcap?
