Thought some of you might find this interesting - it looks like the Cloud
Security Alliance (https://cloudsecurityalliance.org/) is using a variant
of SPA in their Software Defined Perimeter (SDP) technology:

What isn't clear to me is whether they are actually using a firewall or
not. They give a packet header format for SPA, and it appears that TCP is
being used. So, my guess is that they are not crafting a TCP packet with a
raw socket independently of the client TCP stack, and therefore they
actually have a TCP server that can be scanned for.

Still, it is interesting to see that SPA is making it into other areas.
