As a Christian I can assure you that Santa is perfectly secular. The Catholic(?) church moved its yearly celebration of Christ into December - in the same period as a pagan festival. Much of the things we relate to Christmas come from that pagan period. Be happy that something which was non-christian was overtaken by the church, and then overtaken again by the secular screaming kids wanting whatever toy flashes in front of their eyes on the TV.
