-- I have a PowerBook Wallstreet 233 and I wanted to hook it up to my Audiovox stereo CD player, so that my computer's sound comes from my stereo speakers and allows me to use the stereo as normal. I do have a cord that looks like a two-sided headphone jack, which came with my 14" A-V monitor that I don't use anymore. It allowed me to use the speakers on the monitor instead of the single speaker on the computer. Could I use this to connect my PowerBook to my stereo, or would I need a new connector? I have been able to play sounds from the stereo on the computer's built in speakers, but that's not what I'm really looking to do.
