Hilman supplies many screws for the fastner displays in hardware stores in the midwest part of the US. While the PowerBook G3 series screws are not usually stocked in the local hardware store, Hilman does have them. Depending on the store you will need to order 10 of them and they will charge $5-6.00 for the pack. I mention this because I checked this out a while back. I decided I did not really want 10 screws and well I did not wish to spend $5 on screws. I did order a part I needed a bit later from a dealer I will not mention. They sold parts and did repair and I figured they must have screws around. They said it would be no trouble to include a screw with my order. Well when the part I ordered came, the screw I asked about was included and the invoice indicated I was charged $8.00 for the screw. I really could not complain because I had not asked for a price before I asked them to send it. So do not just assume that these screws are rare and impossible to find. The hardware store is a great place to start. I would think an electronics hobby shop might have them or get them. An auto parts store might be a good place to look as well. bill -- \/\/i||i@^^ ()\/e -- G-Books is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
