This is a firmware related issue on the Lombard (especially the 333 which I own) - it is not a fixable thing (without replacing the motherboard with a newer revision.) My story - * I purchased a half-height 256Mb upgrade from OWC * It didn't work * Swapped it with them * Still didn't work * Did some serious research, found out about this problem in he "early days" of the Lombard * Told them * Bought a full height instead * They weren't interested in refunding the price difference between a full / half height unit (which was a fair bit at the time) - bastards! Don't forget the Lombard can only take a "half height" unit in the lower memory slot. If I find the Apple article I'll post the link... -- ================================================================== = = = = Antony N.
