I have a 1999 (Bronze, Lombard etc.) 400 mhz powerbook.

Both my batteries have stopped charging, the powerbook sees them they just
won't charge. I went through Apple's Knowledge Base and have tried to reset
the power manager several times by pressing the reset button with the pb off
and waiting for at least 5 seconds. Apple says this should wipe out my RAM
disk - it does, and reset the clock to 12:00 A.M., 01/01/1904 - it doesn't.
So I'm not sure the power manager has been reset.

Any suggestions? I'm pretty sure the batteries are OK.

Ken
