You called Linksys to ask about an AppleTalk wireless solution and hear they
don't do Mac and don't support Mac. While I'm not sure I would call this
prejudiced, I do think it's a poor business decision. Especially considering
how much cross platform compatible hardware there is anymore. If all us
do-it-yourself Mac geeks can make this stuff work, it shouldn't be that
difficult to add a small tech-support staff to walk folks through getting
the Mac connected.

Heck, all I did to get my Linksys WAP-11 to work with my iBooks AirPort card
was take it out of the box and plug it in. I can connect to other Macs on my
network via TCP/IP (which I enabled in File Sharing). I just can't
print...yet.

However an even poorer business decision would be a company that does
support Mac, yet offers no AppleTalk compatible wireless solution. As I
indicated before, I could find no AppleTalk wireless solution at Asante or
Farallon.
