Hi all,

Forgive me for not making myself clear-Apple DID replace the screen 
immediately under warranty. This is one time where I cannot fault 
their customer service. I was on the phone to them as soon as I 
opened my box. I was on hold less than three minutes, the service rep 
was helpful, and Airborne Express delivered a packing box by noon the 
next day. The TiBook came back to me with a beautiful new screen a 
week later. My only complaint is that there was a new scuff mark on 
the top case, but I can fix that myself with some touchup paint.

I do wonder though how a factory-refurbished Powerbook could make it 
through even the most cursory inspection in that condition to be sold.
