I'm glad to see that someone gave an honest response to this question. Unfortunately, it appears that some have now resorted to giving out disinformation in order to subsidize those worthy to be rewarded.
Don't we all deserve the best products at the fairest price, without some sort of agenda? Usually this means Apple, and the made-for-Mac suppliers, but sometimes not (see the recent discussion on Linksys routers). IMHO, Apple must be as cross-platform as practicable in order to become more relevant in the market. If Macs can only be used in single user and all-Mac environments, the products are at risk. OTOH, if a Mac can seamlessly replace a PC in a PC environment (which I am about to try; wish me luck), Macs can start winning one desktop/laptop at a time.
