Hi; I am helping a friend with his 300 g3/64 ram tangerine ibook. I am installing aol for him, but every time the modem goes to connect to an outside line it errors: Saying that the modem cannot detect a dial tone: I have done all the simple stuff, like check the line with a phone and etc. Does anyone know of a utility to check the modem? Or any other ideas.
