Welllll....."a relatively snappy pace" is just that....relative...to the
person describing it.

My wife uses my old Rev. D iMac (333Mhz, 196 Megs RAM) and she finds it
usable. I would say your machine is probably along the same horsepower. My
desktop system is a 500 Mhz iMac with a Gig of RAM, so I notice a
considerable difference. I would say hers is acceptable, if Classic isn't
running.
