thankyou all for all the tips. I shall try connecting an ADB keyboard and starting up. but what is the permanent solution for this? Do I have to change the whole keyboard. My powerbook is 4 years old. Is it time to change the PRAM battery if it has one. Where would this be located and how can I reach it. I shall get back to the list after trying the keyboard trick.
