Hello all, I am living overseas and to connect to the Internet, I have to go through a MS ISA [Internet Security & Acceleration] server which is the successor to MS Proxy server 2.0. I need to be able to connect my PB G4 800 [DVI] to access updates, email, etc. [Also would like to help a couple of friends connect their iBooks (dual USB)]. We are all running 10.1.5 and IE 5.2.1 as well. The problem is with authentication. I can ping an address and even connect MSN Messenger 3.0, but when I try to access a website, I cannot get the applications to authenticate. To further complicate/confuse matters, I know 9.2.2 will connect and authenticate, as I have tested it in classic and rebooting as well. I am currently using VPC 5.x running Windows2000 [don't use SP3 w/ VPC, ouch] to connect and send these emails. I would be content with this, but after having spent the money to have a machine that would easily run OS X and applications for X, I would like to have it work [at least as well as 9.x] and connect. Are there any suggestions? Does anyone have any experience with ISA servers? I live in a Windows-centric world and so tech support is basically...um...'me'.
TIA, Keith p.s. I think that covers it, if I forgot something, email me, I'm in digest. _________________________________________________________________ MSN Photos is the easiest way to share and print your photos: http://photos.msn.com/support/worldwide.aspx -- G-Books is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
