Well my experience isn't on a Powerbook, but I got mine Friday (woohoo!
It wasn't supposed to get here 'till monday or tuesday!) and installed
it on my desktop (a G4 upgraded 7600). Did the upgrade route.

It took forever, 5 hours, something I attribute to my ancient 4X CD
drive, and everything but Classic is working, and working well. The
long install wasn't much of a problem, as there was good stuff on TV at
the time.

The only user intervention needed was to put in the second disk, and
had I known that it was going to be needed, I'd have stuck it in my
CDRW and then not had to do anything...it even rebooted for me after
the install.

It's noticeably faster, like I got a new CPU upgrade. Great improvement
over 10.1.5.

The lack of Classic is going to be a pain, but it might be because I've
only got 9.1 installed on the Classic partition.
