I found this in the Seattle Times today. http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/personaltechnology/134539584_ptmacc21.html
"Several readers also noted their large Entourage X mail databases had corrupted as well. A suggestion to one of them fixed it: While starting up Entourage X, hold down the Option key. Select Advanced Rebuild from the menu that appears. Go away for a long time, hours perhaps for databases over 50 megabytes and most of a day for a 500 MB file. When the operation is finished, immediately quit Entourage X and restart your machine from the Apple menu. If you fail to restart, Entourage may not correctly read the rebuilt database. If this rebuild fails, and you find e-mail is missing - in my case, everything before November was gone - dive down into your Home folder and...<snipped> Back up these databases before performing the rebuild option, or you'll be sorry! " Sorry indeed. After I got done laughing my head off, I said a small prayer for Glenn. Yeah, I'll wait a few hours while enturdage grinds up my email. Thanks Glenn, and thanks microslop!
