Here's the situation: We're trying to replace a broken Pismo screen with a Samsung LCD number LT141X7-124. With the new screen hooked up, the backlight suddenly doesn't come on. It doesn't work when the old screen is put back in, either. Everything is somewhat readable if the PB is held up to a bright window, but that limits the portability. Is there a way to test just the backlight? How is it controlled? Of course the tough question is did we somehow damage the inverter board?
