I've never had a CSM get corrupt on my computers. I would never have thought
it possible. I have had a couple "break" on later systems, but nothing get
corrupt through a crash or whatnot. I would think that their preference
files would go bad before the actual CSM. If you have problems, try deleting
the preference files first.
