Jim, I've swapped my 12GB Toshiba from my Pismo into a VST pocket drive case. Easy. You peel back the plastic surround, undo 4 silver and three black phillips head screws, and you're in business. I didn't try _too_ hard to get the plastic wraparound back on, and it looks, okay. But the 20GB I got from the last smartdisk sale didn't look much prettier when I got it. So a VST/Smartdisk slim drive is an easy swap -- certainly, if you can install the drive in your powerbook, the enclosure won't be a problem.
