I hope someone can provide insight into my problem. To put it simply, I am having trouble getting Jaguar to recognize my modem. I am running a PowerBook G3 250 with 256 MB memory. It tells me my modem cannot detect a carrier signal. I have been told that I need an updated modem script, but I cannot find one anywhere. Right now, I've stripped my PowerBook down to Aqua (X.1.5). It runs like a champ, but the modem doesn't sound when it dials. Under 9.2.1, the speaker is loud and clear, but in X there is no sound made from the modem speaker. Can anyone offer assistance. I'd love to be able to use Jaguar! Please help!!
