When I sent my Wallstreet in to Powerbook Parts for the hinge repair,
<http://www.pbparts.com/store/agora.cgi?p_id=wssr&cart_id=>,
I had them install a 256 Mb RAM chip in the lower slot.
Runs fine, only complaint was that the memory test on start up gets much
longer when you add RAM.
I switched off the memory test (hold down Command+Option while opening
the memory control panel to enable the option) and am happier with the
faster start up.
I don't know if there is a down side to turning off the memory check.
