that would have been the 1710AV, a rather evil little beastie.

however, Apple has a knowledge base article that describes (i think) 
your problem fairly well. check out 
<http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=88195>, which is KBase 
article 88195. MacInTouch and MacFixIt have reported that Apple is 
paying for the repair.
