I sit in front of my computer in shock today..... This email list has to have the worst signal to noise level in the universe, and I have been on some doozies. After nearly three weeks on this list, this is what I have learned:
Apple 'certified' tech's are the lowest form of computer literate. The spend more time throwing around worthless acronyms regarding 'user stupidity' and fluffing their ego's than attempting to educate the masses. Wake up guys, you should educate, not alienate. In the G Book universe, free speech is good, as long as it agrees with what I believe. As soon as I hear a different opinion, I pull out the heavy weapons and start blasting away. This whole deal with LEM and religion is like walking into a strip club and complaining about the nudity. What? You didn't see the signs out front?!? On a good note, I will say I did have one interesting conversation on this list. So everything is not doom and gloom. I am just beyond shocked at the misinformation and silly game playing which goes on day and night on this list. Normally I would stay on the list for a day or so to rebuff or accept any witty comments from other users, but since the subscribers with any tack have been so thoroughly beaten down by the more loud mouthed of this group, I will not be waiting any longer to unsubscribe. Please, gentle people of G Books, if you have a question regarding your powerbook, ask someone who knows -like apple - or pick up a book and get some hard facts.
