Happy Mac is in the ROM. However... One can do some mucking about in the System file, using resedit and change the MacOS Startup Screen (MOSS) to a different image. ( My system at home displays a HAL9000 image on start-up).
Not advocating the one does this, as mucking with the system file can cause serious damage to your Mac's ability to boot. -- Guy > ---------- > From: Laurent Daudelin > Reply To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: Tuesday, December 17, 2002 8:30 AM > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: Re: Please validate this group..... > > On 17/12/02 10:47, "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > > Is there anyway to get rid of the smiling face before the startupsplash > > screen? > > None that I am aware of.
