Hey Sean

I tried a friends 30gig and it did the same thing. both drives under OS
10.1.4
but I tried the install again with OSX and told it not to install the OS9
Drivers and that seems to have fixed it.

i have a 20 gig in my wallstreet II 233 and it worked great from day
one. maybe your drive is pooched
