A friend has this problem- his ibook takes fo-r-rever to open. I've tried booting a repair disk with systemsworks/disk warrier on it (It BOMBS out with the word 'bus' under the dread icon. It's worked fine on other macs) Running systemsworks without booting it up didn't do much- just the usual Norton's fix alls. I've zapped pram, rebuilt desktop... any ideas? Does the ibook have a power manager button?
