I have only 500MB unused on my computer's hard drive. I was thinking
about upgrading it with a larger HD next fall BUT I was afraid that I
might void my Apple Care warranty doing so AND I not sure if there is or
isn't a heat issue with installing a larger drive.

Another option would be to buy one of those VST cases and put the new
larger drive in the expansion bay. I would avoid opening up my Pismo
yet again.

Perhaps I should replace the 20GB drive in my Pismo with a larger drive
and then put the 20GB drive in the expansion bay. Any thoughts and
ideas to the pros and cons to each method?

Thanks,
