Vicki, The Data Shuttle I mentioned is a laptop hard drive mounted in an external case, connected to the powerbook via a PC card interface card (ide/pc card adapter). I got mine several years ago from MCE and have used it with a Wallstreet, a Lombard, a Pismo and a 2400c. It's bus powered, so you don't need an external power supply. I'm not sure if they still make them though. I just sold my spare on the swaplist.
