I inherited a lombard and since the original battery only last for
about an hour I went to my local chain computer store and lo and behold
they had an APC replacement lombard battery in fact they had several of
them. So i brought it home and smacked it in and it charged up. Cool!
then I let it discharge all the way (CD intensive video games work
every time) and when it popped up with the "you are on reserve battery
power" I plugged it back in and went to bed. When I woke up it was
still blinking only 1 light and the battery gauge still read 9%. :-( I
remember reading that the batteries in these things charge better when
the PB is sleeping vs off so I put it to sleep and went to school. When
I came home, still 9%. Well I thought I just had a bad battery so I
exchanged it. well the new one is doing the same thing, except this one
never charged up all the way, just 50%ish.

Anyone have any ideas? I got 4.5 hours out of the other battery. SOOOO
much better than 1 hour

TIA
