The 333 model does not have the MPEG card in it so you can't use the Apple DVD Player (or any other player that uses hardware decoding) to play discs. I suspect this to be due to the decoder card not being supported. Same goes with using Zoomed Video input (PCMCIA cards such as the CapSure.) Running OS X on the Lombard sucks a little (I am running it on my Lombard 333 here) as the video card is NOT supported. There is a hack (which I have tried) that greatly increases graphics performance but it can be somewhat flaky.
