Ken,

Unfortunately I don't have solution, just personal experience: I am using an ADAPTEC USB2connect (it's an USB2.0 cardbus) on a Wallstreet PDQ. I connected a Logitech cordless mouse and an ADSL Modem on it. I also forgot to install additionnal USB software on the machine (maybe I should, or maybe some other software already installed the USB drivers, I don't know).

Everything works fine for me (OS 9.2 and OS X.1.2): didn't need to pray, I just had to plug...

Gérard.

OK, I surrender. I have tried three different cards, all USB 2.0 supposed
to work as 1.1 under OS 9. All three fail to provide support "as
advertised."

Running a Wallstreet 300mhz, 96MB RAM, OS 9.2.2. Installed USB support
1.4.1.

Have tried a USB mouse (iMac type), Compact Flash card reader/card, Epson
777i with latest drivers, USB Digital camera. All of these devices mount
properly using a 6500 with generic USB 1.1 card.

What am I missing?

Ken

Use it up, wear it out, make it do or do without.
